Manual Progression: Roll Up
Wheel Lifts

While the manual is a great move for showing off, it can also be very useful on the trail. For example, you can use the manual to roll up obstacles when approaching them at higher speeds.
As you time the manual to let the front wheel up and over your obstacle, take into account a few things:
1. You should return to a centerd, balanced position - in order to let the rear wheel roll up smoothly.
2. On larger obstacles, you might want to use the claw and lift the rear wheel for a smoother transition up and over.
3. Don't forget to cover your rear brake as well as practice your dismounts just in case you get the bike too much over to the backside.
